Volkskrant Magazine asked us to create a Happy 2022 image, to celebrate the new year. Aisha Zeijpveld and I thought we’d team up for this assignment and together as ‘tipsy turners’ we created this cover image entitled Happy Lockdown. Being still in lockdown from COVID, we decided to build a bright yellow (the colour of happiness) lockdown box, used ourselves as models, we embraced our inner ‘tipsy turner’ and stroke our best pose to celebrate a happy lockdown together, in an attempt to shift our perspective.
