For the new – and final – season of the iconic Dutch television program Zomergasten, I was commissioned to create the campaign imagery. As tradition has it, the series opens with portraits of its presenter, this time Janine Abbring. She previously appeared as the program’s regular interviewer from 2017 to 2022. From July 26 through August 30, VPRO Zomergasten will air live every Sunday evening on NPO 2 and NPO Start.

Janine appears to slip into, or quietly peek into, the worlds of the guests and their selected fragments. Not fully part of them, yet unmistakably drawn in. This subtle tension touches on the essence of the program: a space where stories unfold, perspectives shift, and images open up personal universes.
